Depression is not the same for everyone, so there is no one solution. We have found that depression can be caused by anything from hormones to neurotransmitters to nutrition to another illness. That is why it is so important to take an individualized, balanced approach to wellness and overall depression management.

Some of the tools and techniques we suggest may work for you, others may not.  You may have to make major lifestyle changes to create the change you want to see in your life.  The important thing is that you work with your doctor, explore your options, and tailor a plan that is right for you.  It is also very important not to try and cope with depression entirely on your own.  You need a support system to help you draw from the caring, helpful people in your life-those family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances who make it easy for you to be yourself.
