Support Our Mission to Teach Everyone the Skills to Hope.

iFred, a 501(c)3 organization, is working to teach hope, shine a positive light on mental health, and end the stigma around mental illness.

"With over 50% of girls in the U.S. reporting persistent states of hopelessness, the primary predictor of suicide, we are more passionate than ever about helping everyone find ways to move what brings from hopelessness to hope."

-Kathryn Goetzke, Founder of International Foundation for Research and Education on Depression Hope

At iFred (International Foundation for Research and Education on Depression Hope), we believe that Hope is not just a feeling—it’s a skill that can be taught, shared, and scaled.

With your support, we empower youth, communities, and organizations to foster Hope through proven programs like Hopeful Minds and Hopeful Cities. Together, we can change the conversation around mental health and give people the tools they need to thrive.

Why Your Donation Matters

Hope is more than a feeling — it’s a skill that can be taught, nurtured, and strengthened. Your donation empowers us to deliver life-changing programs, resources, and tools that teach individuals and communities how to cultivate hope in their everyday lives.

When you give, you’re helping to spark resilience in a child, empower a struggling adult, and inspire entire communities to believe in a better tomorrow. Together, we can create a ripple effect of hope that extends far beyond today.
